Join our Technical Services Team as an established IT/Managed Services Provider. The qualified applicant would support a diverse environment of Windows-based users and should have expertise with service desk, remote desktop support, virtual system administration (VSA), Office 365, SharePoint and VoIP software and systems. Proficiency with Windows server and Active Directory are required. Experience with AWS or a comparable cloud technology required.
Must be able to work independently but also as part of a Technical Services team. Strong written and verbal communication skills are a must. We emphasize cross training and all team members are capable of performing a wide variety of IT support tasks.
Desirable certifications: CompTIA A+/CompTIA Network +/ Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP).
This position may require a physical presence at two sites (Buffalo Grove, IL and a downtown Chicago office). Typically, it would not be required to be at both locations in the same day. Parking is provided or reimbursed at both sites but transportation must be provided by the employee. Occasional travel to other client sites and transportation of equipment may be necessary (travel would be reimbursed).
The job’s physical requirements will be some lifting as might be typically required for desktop PCs, file servers, printers and/or monitors, etc.
